Higley Family Auto Care is owned and run by the Herring family. Jake is a fourth-generation mechanic, and every car that rolls into our Gilbert shop gets treated like it belongs to one of our own.
Where it all started
Jake and his wife, Hailey, started Higley Family Auto Care with a shared dream: a trusted local shop where everyone in the community could feel confident bringing in their vehicle for honest, reliable care. Together with their children, Jase and Hannah, they have built more than an auto repair shop. They have built a family legacy.
The mission is simple: keep the community safe and on the road, one honest repair at a time. Whether it is routine maintenance or a major repair, the team does the job right, with transparency, care and respect.

Jake's great-grandfather starts the family's work in the automotive trade.
The family builds deep roots in automotive sales, machining and repair.

Meet the staff

Jake grew up around cars and repair shops and has been immersed in the industry his entire life. He built Higley Family Auto Care on family, integrity and a lifelong dedication to doing the job right, and he personally walks customers through their repairs.
ASE MasterMaster Certified Automotive Technician
Jeremy brings nearly four decades of hands-on experience. He started on Volkswagens and has spent 29 of his 39 years specializing in Toyota. Loyal and detail-driven, he lives by doing the right thing for the right reasons.
Front counter & family
Hailey co-founded the shop with Jake, and you will often see Hannah and Jase around the front counter. It is a family business in the truest sense, and that is exactly how we treat our customers.
